Todd Walker

Todd Walker, age 53, of Cumming, GA, formerly of Snellville, GA, passed away on August 24, 2016. He was born on October 9, 1962, and was the son of George and Wilma Walker of Cumming, GA, formerly of Snellville, and grandson of Loyd and Vera Doss of Snellville, GA.   He was preceded in death by his mother and grandparents, and is survived by his father, George Walker. Todd was the loving husband of Dawn Walker of Cumming, GA, and loving father of two sons, Ryan Walker and Paul Walker, all of whom survive him.  He is also survived by his brother, Steve Walker, of Cumming, GA; his brother and sister-in-law, Derek and Christi Walker of Cumming, GA; his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Richard and Debbie Goldsmith of Atlanta, GA; his sister-in-law, Joy Alligood, of Thomasville, GA; his niece, Alexis, and nephews, Austin and Stephen. Todd attended South Gwinnett High School, Georgia Tech and graduated from Georgia State University.  He was a long-time residential builder in Forsyth County, Georgia.  He was a devoted family man who never missed his sons’ ballgames or a family gathering at the lake.  He loved playing sports throughout his life, and was an avid Ga. Tech fan. A celebration of Todd's life will be held on Tuesday August 30th, 2016, at 12:00 PM at the Chapel of Byrd & Flanigan Crematory and Funeral Service, with Dr. Jim Cantrell officiating.
