Wade Cook Obituary

Wade William Cook, beloved son, brother, grandson, cousin, and friend passed from this life on Sunday, June 4, 2023.

Wade is survived by his parents, Jennifer and Steve Cook; his siblings Joshua (Jesi), Hunter (Jessica), Savannah, Cole (Sarah), and Drake; his nieces and nephews: Nolan, Jayci, Jaxon, Adaline, Jolene, Holland, Charlie, and Scarlett.  Wade spent his entire life in Georgia and loved music, animals, and the beach.  He attended and graduated high school from Loganville Christian Academy. Wade loved cross-country and loved playing the trumpet in his high school. Wade attended Georgia College and State University and Luther Rice Seminary School.

It was the little things that brought joy to Wade’s life. It didn't take much, but if it was something big, he made sure to share it with others.  Wade was the embodiment of love to the fullest extent of the word. Wade was one of a kind. He was the kindest soul on the meanest earth. He had the sweetest heart of all. He wore his heart on his sleeve and he would help you even if he was the one that really needed it. He loved hard and was loved even harder. He cared for everyone no matter what. He never cared what anyone thought of how he dressed, or what music he listened to. Wade was a truly great man whose impact will be forever felt by his family, who love him dearly. He was a selfless and kind man whose passing left an unfillable gap in the hearts of his loved ones. His ability to make people laugh, forgive, and love will forever be ingrained in all who knew him. As a man of true integrity and a good heart, Wade was confident in himself and we are confident in his legacy.
