Ursula Andrea Walker Obituary

Ursula “DIMPLES” Walker, of Indianapolis, Indiana went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 15, 2018, at the Well Star Paulding Hospital, based in Hiram Georgia.

“Dimples” was born on November 12, 1976, in Chicago, Illinois to the late Lee Junious Walker Jr. and Willie Mae Walker.

“Dimples” attended Carver High School. Immediately after graduation, she attended Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts School studying a trade that she loved, Culinary Arts. “Dimples” loved to cook. Cooking was her passion. “Dimples” thought that she was the best cook ever (that she was—LOL.) She always thought she had to show a person how to cook. “Dimples” felt the need to cook every holiday and every event. “Dimples” was a fun, silly (REALLY SILLY!!), loving, loyal and free- hearted person. When she loved, she loved hard. “Dimples” had a great sense of humor, loved to make everyone around her laugh. “Dimples” was a jokester and wanted everyone to laugh at her jokes. She inherited her sense of humor from Mr. Jokester himself; Jr. /Her Daddy. “Dimples” loved listening to her music which so happened to be oldies (just like her Daddy). “Dimples” had many of her Daddy’s characteristics and she took much pride in that.  “Dimples” had an “old soul”; but we all loved that soul oh so much. “Dimples” was very protective of her sisters and was the protector when Brother wasn’t around. Dimples will be missed greatly.

“Dimples” is survived by her 3 daughters—Rayvn (Wesley) Potter, Raya Miller & Mikayla Harris, all of Indianapolis, Indiana; Her siblings; 2 sisters--Tamara (Corey) Cook of Suwanee, Georgia; Monica (Kendle) Jones of Crete, Illinois; 3 brothers—Steven Davis of Fremont, Ohio; Darren Walker & Phillip “Lil Man” Walker, both of Chicago Illinois; nephews—Derrell (Cierra), Antione “AJ”, Novan, Kevin, Kristian, Rico Jr, & Darren Jr; nieces—Ariana “Arrie”, Antionette “Antsy”, Starr, Skyy, Brieanna “Brie”, Kayla, Jaelynn, Christina & Shanell. “Dimples” leaves her cherished memory to her very special great-nephew Jo’Vonni “Baby J/Juicy Baby”.

“Dimples” also leaves to cherish her special memories with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. “Dimples” would like to leave special memories to her childhood friends, that followed her into adulthood; Tyinnia Bennett, Sonya Samuels, Katrese Burdette & LaJuana Benson.

“Dimples” was preceded in death by her Daddy; Lee Walker Jr. her  Brother; Rico Walker and Nephew Cordell Allen.
