Randall Eugene Gibson

Randall Eugene Gibson, Sr., age 62, went to be with his Lord and Savior January 18, 2021.  He was born May 5, 1958 in Sweetwater, TN to Ross and Edna Gibson.  He was a faithful member of the Church of God for fourty years dedicating many years to service in the children's ministry.  Randall was a pivotal employee at Phoenix Metals from it's inception and was described as an invaluable employee.  He loved fishing, camping, baseball, and basically anything that involved spending time with his family.  Randall was preceeded in death by his father, Ross.  He is survived in death by his wife of 44 years, Rita Cook Gibson and his children, Renee (Jeff) Jerome, Ranita (Billy) Christopher, Ramona (Eddie) Slaughter, Randall, Jr. (Emily) Gibson, and Russell (Young) Gibson.  Randall will also be rembered by his 13 grandchildren, Bethany, Joseph, Daniel, Serenity, Annabelle, Thomas, Aireann, Carlee, Jolene, Walker, Eleanor, Benjamin, and Bowen, by his mother, Edna, and his sisters, Nadine (Ron), Teresa (Jim), and Dahlene (Alan), along with many other nieces, nephews, and loving friends.  
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 11:00 am at Buford Church of God, 4800 South Lee St. Buford, GA with the Celebration of Life service to begin at 1:00 pm. with Pastor Scott Grizzle and Mr. Greg Moore officiating.  The family appreciates your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
