Peggy J. Bennett Garner age 79 of Lavonia, Ga formerly of Lawrenceville, GA passed away Thursday June 13, 2019. Mrs. Garner was preceded in death by her husband Charlie Douglas Garner Jr., parents Buford & Geneva Bennett, brother Billy Ray Bennett, sister Annette Duncan, She was a member of Lavonia First Baptist Church and was a volunteer for 7 years with ST. Marys Sacred Heart Hospital Auxillary in Lavonia. A graduate of Lawrenceville High School, and was retired from Gwinnett County after 30 years as a Bus Driver. She is survived by her son & daughter in law Mark D. & April Garner of Bowman, GA, daughters & son in law Beth Garner of Charlotte, NC, Cynthia Garner of Jonesborough, TN, Cathy & Jeff Richardson of Venice, FL, grandsons Cal Garner, Ryan Garner, Garrett Garner all of Bowman, GA, great grandson River Garner of Bowman, GA, sister & brother in law Barbara & Pat Swanson of Hoschton, GA, sister in law Brenda Bailey of Lilburn, GA. Funeral Services will be held Saturday June 15, 2019 at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of Byrd and Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Kerr officiating. The family will receive friends Friday June 14, 2019 from 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm at the funeral home.
