Norma Haney Robinson, age 65, of Loganville, Georgia passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2022. Norma started her career with Gwinnett County Ambulance Service in 1983 which later merged with Gwinnett County Fire Services. She retired from Gwinnett in 2007 as a paramedic firefighter. Norma also worked with Peachtree Immediate Care for over 20 years. She was a member of Loganville First Baptist Church where she served on their medical team. She loved gardening, going to the beach, and was an avid Georgia Bulldog Fan. She also loved attending her grandchildren’s sporting events. She was so proud to watch her husband Randy teach their grandchildren about the outdoors. She especially enjoyed trying new restaurants that featured good old Country Cooking!
Norma is preceded in death by her parents: Clarence and Esther Mae Warbington Haney; sister, Annette Nichols; brother, James “Bubbles” Haney’ brother-in-law, Ronny Knight; son-in-law, Sean Worley. Norma is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Randy Robinson and children: Kim (Troy) Wilkas of Loganville, GA; Robert (Tiffani) Powell of Dahlonega, GA; Heidi Worley of Loganville, GA; stepson Chase (Haley) Robinson of Braselton, GA; twin sister, Irma Knight of Dacula, GA; sisters: Jane Stephens of Loganville, GA, Martha (Derald) McDonald of Snellville, GA; sister-in-law, Tammy Haney of Lawrenceville, GA; brother-in-law Andrew Nichols Dacula, GA; grandchildren: Cameron Powell, Kierstin Powell, Kaitlyn (Hunter) Gibbs, Corrigan Worley, Carson Worley, Hunter Bullock, Kaylee Poss, Nic Robinson, and Ansley Robinson. Norma’s pride and joy was her great-grandchild, Hazel Grace Gibbs, and one more great-grandchild on the way, Esther Mae Gibbs. Norma is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A Celebration of Norma’s life will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2022, at 2 pm at the Chapel of Byrd & Flanigan Funeral Service, Lawrenceville with Rev. Larry Wynn officiating. Interment will follow at Gwinnett Memorial Park, Lawrenceville. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 27, 2022 from 2 pm until 8 pm at the funeral home.
