Myrtle May (Green) Bodden

Myrtle May Bodden age 92 of Dacula, Ga passed away Wednesday September 30, 2020. She was a native of Jamaica and member of Lenox Hill Baptist Church in Brooklyn, New York, and was a Registered Nurse. She was preceded in death by her brothers Leslie, and Cleveland, sisters Dor, and Eugenie, cousin Joyce, nephews Junior, and Ruddy and niece Jennifer. She is survived by her daughter Fay Kirlew of Arlington, VA, son Dwight Bodden of Dacula, daughter in law Heather Williams-Bodden of Dacula, sister in law Hyacinth Green of Brooklyn, NY, adopted daughters Michelle Williams, Rhonda Heslop, Donna Hart, and Suzanne DeSouza. grandchildren Tamika Cox, Tahesha Cox, Trinicia Bodden, Brittany Bodden, Brianna Bodden, Dwight Orlando Bodden, Izabelle Bodden, Kavi Bodden, Ashton Pollonais, Nyles Pollonais, great granddaughter Alayna Bodden, brothers Jasper Green of Kingston, Jamaica, Dudley Green of Toronto, Canada, niece's Marie Cobran, and Jean Lispcombe, Rema Blake, and Michelle Green, nephews Patrick Lloyd, Rupert Green, Leroy "Dread" Green, Ian Green, and Alvin "Ricky" Mightly. special friends Leonard & Marcia Lindsey, Claudette Robinson. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, October 8, 2020 from the chapel of Byrd and Flanigan Funeral Home with Dr. Ronald D. Dunnigan officiating. Interment will follow at Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday from 1:00 until 2:00 at the Funeral Home.
