Martha M. Byrd

A Special Woman like no other it is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Martha M. Byrd our loving and devoted Mother, Grandmother, Special Aunt and Friend age 85 of Blairsville, GA formerly of Snellville, GA passed away Friday February 7, 2020. To all whose lives she touched, Martha lived a full and eventful life. Her greatest joy's were Pam, Parker, Jason and Elizabeth they were her world, as well as the Byrd family, The Mason family, and her best friend Dot. She was passionate about her home and her flowers and loved to show them off to visitors. She truely enjoyed her church family at Coosa United Methodist Church in Blairsville, and her book club friends as well as her Blue Ridge play buddies. She was a former member of Sunrise Baptist Church in Lawrenceville, A longtime member of Snellville OES # 513, and was retired from Madison Ventures in Lawrenceville after 28 faithful years of service. She will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday February 10, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Coosa United Methodist Church 767 Mulkey Gap Rd. Blairsville, GA 30512 with Pastor Bill Burch officiating. The family will receive friends Monday February 10, 2020 from 1:00 pm  - 2:00 pm at the church.
