Lynda B. Jeantheau

September 27, 1935 – August 31, 2022

 

Lynda B. Jeantheau, age 86, of Dacula, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2022.  Lynda was born in Huntington, West Virginia on September 27, 1935 to Earl F. Brown and Lisette K. Brown.

 

Lynda is survived by her children: Mark Jeantheau (Sky), Lauri Lambeth (Hunter), Leslie Auel (Carl), Christie Cornwell (Steve), and Nancy Doak (Earl); her grandchildren: Madison Cornwell, Eric Auel, Morgan Cornwell, Emily Siemens (Will), Mackenzie Cornwell, Jenna Auel (Zach), Abby Auel, Haley Lambeth, and Carly Auel; her sister Barbara Miller, nephews Bill Crandall (Miriama) and Brad Gladstone, great-nephew Bradford Gladstone, and great-niece Sofia Crandall; honorary daughters Juli Burrus Anderson and Leigh Ann Clawson; and her beloved cats Cali & Beau.

 

Lynda was preceded in death by her father and mother.

 

Lynda graduated from Marietta College in Ohio.  She was a loving, devoted mother to her five children.  Later in life, she worked at several public schools in the guidance office and mentored many students, offering sage advice, compassion, and kindness.

 

Lynda was a gentle, thoughtful person, full of patience and grace.  She had many special people in her life who were like family.  She was wonderful at caring for and keeping up with others, no matter the distance or time.  Her friends were friends for life.  She was a beautiful person, both inside and out.

 

A memorial service for Lynda will be held on Tuesday September 27th at 2:00 pm at The Rising Church 710 Power Avenue, Buford, Ga 30518
