    Ms. Keisha Martin age 45 of Dekalb County, Georgia, peacefully passed away unexpectedly Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, GA surrounded by her beloved family. She was born December 27, 1975 in Waynesville, NC to Cleveland Martin Sr. and Josie Thompson Martin.

    In addition to her loving mother, she was predeceased by her maternal grandparents Mr. William Boyd Thompson Sr. and Mrs. Mabel Fern Swafford Thompson, paternal grandparents Mr. June Martin and Mrs. Sadie Bell Martin. Two Aunts, Sylvia "Ann" Smith, and Odette Buckner. One uncle, Jim Martin. One niece, Daquanya Forney. 

    In addition to her father, left to cherish her memory is her partner of 15 years Steve Rowe of Georgia. Three children, Tiana Shae Martin, Shantira Dominique Tabor, Richard Kevon Tabor. Five granddaughters, Audriel Love, Jamela Love, Kaidence Martin, Amoni Tabor and Marlei Parks. Two brothers, Cleveland Martin Jr.(Lywanda) and Dama Martin(Kellie). Her stepmother, Dorthy "Dot" Martin. Four nephews, Dama Martin Jr., DeQuavian "DJ" Martin, Trey Martin, Elijah Martin. Three nieces, Latina Locklear, Jasmine Martin, Aston Martin. Two Great nephews, Marley Bethea and Matthias Garcia. One great-niece, Skyla Martin. Many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. 

    Keisha was one of a kind. She had the most infectious smile that lit up a room and had a powerful will that was always determined. She was a precious daughter, a loving sister, an inspirational mother, a cherished grandmother, and a true friend. She loved and cherished her family and friends. She enjoyed reading and loved listening to music. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. 

    A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, May 29, 2021 in the Chapel of Wells Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Waynesville, NC. Memorial contributions can be made to the Susan G. Komen For The Cure Foundation and March of Dimes.
