Joseph “Joe” Blaise Perrault Jr., 57, passed on January 27, 2021 with his family by his side in Lawrenceville, Georgia.

A private memorial service will be held February 2, 2021 at Byrd & Flanigan Crematory and Funeral Service in Lawrenceville, Georgia. A virtual livestream will be available. The family will hold a celebration of life this spring, once it is safe to bring his many friends and family members together.

Joseph was born July 26, 1963, in  Bastrop, Louisiana to Joseph Perrault Sr. and Gladys Jones Perrault. Joseph Sr. is a retired supervisor for International Paper. Gladys managed and nurtured the home as a wife and mother. They raised Joe and his younger brother, Greg, in Bastrop and it wasn’t until his early adult years that Joe moved to Georgia.

Joe worked as a supervisor at Lock Doctor & A1 Security for 30 years. He found joy and purpose in being a great dad to his 3 girls and in bringing people together. He had a natural aptitude for entertaining, making people laugh and cooking. Joe spent much of his free time with family, something he valued with all his heart. Joe was an active member of the Lake Lanier Boaters group and enjoyed sun filled days on the lake. Joe was charismatic, thoughtful and generous. He was a loving son, brother, father, husband, papa and a loyal friend. He married Stephanie Walford Perrault in 2019, after 15 years together and they lived in Auburn, Georgia.

Joe is survived by his parents, Joseph Sr. and Gladys; brother, Greg; wife, Stephanie; 3 daughters(from his marriage to Bonnie Rebholz), Heather Paige Perrault-Taylor (Constance Taylor),  Haley Jo Perrault  (Steve Fricks),  Hope Perrault. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren (Lyla, Finn, Karleigh, Carter, Rhett, Ava) and 2 step-children, Ashleigh Henry and Bryan Craver

Fair winds and following seas, Captain Joe. We have watch.
