It is with great sadness that the family of Joseph D. Polacky, Jr., 46, of Lawrenceville, Georgia announce his sudden passing on December 22, 2021. Joe was born in Knoxville, Tennessee to Joseph D. Polacky, Sr. (deceased -2020) and Mary Ann Polacky and grew up in Dunwoody, Georgia. He was the youngest of six children.
Joe leaves behind one son, Tyler Polacky (Shawna) and two grandchildren Zaier and Ariya. He is also survived by three brothers, Bill Wallo (Julie), Tim Wallo (Sharron), Joseph Wallo (Kelly) and two sisters, Patti Lynn (David) and Mary Ann Pierce (Robert), three nephews, Van Pierce, Jay Wallo (Caroline), Andrew Wallo and one niece, Ellie Wallo.
Joe was employed at Hughes Commercial Real Estate and Alloy Industrial, as a Superintendent/ Project Manager. He was very skilled at managing multiple tasks and handling many roles for the company.
Joe was a larger than life character, with a contagious laugh and an infectious sense of humor. He was a courageous and kind soul who went the
extra mile for those he cared about and was a best friend to all that knew him. We are devastated and he will be deeply missed by many. A Celebration of Life service for both Joe and his father will be held in the Spring. Details will be forthcoming.
