She embraced the antique trade with her husband and made a living buying and selling antiques, along with framed herbariums. Some of her herbariums were used on the television filming sets of “Resurrection”, “Devious Maids”, and the movie, “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo”. Prior to her death, she moved to Dacula and was cared for by her daughter Amy and son-in-law Randy. She was of the Christian faith and enjoyed spending time with family, reading mystery thriller books, and watching British murder mystery shows. Her guilty pleasures in life were getting her nails done and enjoying Tate’s Lemon Cookies and Necco Wafers.
