Frances Brown Harris McManus, known to many as Sis, of Royston, GA, passed away on January 9, 2021. Frances/Sis was born in Hart County, GA to the late Clayburn and Inez Brown on September 20, 1933. She graduated from Hart County High School and married the late Jimmy Harris, and later married the late Don McManus. She worked as a sewing machine operator at a local sewing plant for many years, making many friends along the way. Frances/Sis devoted her life to taking care of others, loved many, and would never let you starve when visiting with her. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents, Frances/Sis was preceded in death by her brothers Wendell (Snooks) Brown, Russell Brown, Thirston (Doc) Brown, Ben Brown, and Blant Brown. Frances/Sis is survived by her closest family of nieces and nephews whom she lived with and who cared for her - Kathleen (Douglas) Harris, Reneè (Nathaniel) Ray, Ashley (Edner) Louis, and Joseph Ray. She was also survived by distant nieces, nephews, as well as great-nieces and nephews.
