Dennis Lee Moon Sr.

Dennis Lee Moon Sr. age 66 of Buford, Ga passed away Tuesday April 26, 2022. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, photography, going to concerts, visiting Botanical Gardens and traveling. He was a member of Fairview Presbyterian Church in Lawrenceville and The Christian Motorcycle Association and was a U. S. Army Veteran and was employed with Macy's in Johns Creek as a Senior Testing Analyst in Information Technology. He was preceded in death by his sister Debbie Moon of Tampa, FL. He is survived by his wife Mary F. Moon of Buford, children Teresa Moon King (Rich) of Buford, GA, Dennis Lee Moon Jr. of Overland Park, KS, Briana Moon Piper (Jonathan) of Statham, GA, Nicholas Aaron Moon of Vienna, VA, Mary Elizabeth Jones of Commerce, GA, 4 grandsons and 1 granddaughter, 1 great grandson, 3 great granddaughters, brothers and sisters in law Mark & Rena Sandoval of Rogers, AR, Richard L. & Darla Weaver of Stockton, MO, sister and brother in law Cheryl & Kent Landreth of Windermere, FL, 6 brothers in law, 2 sisters in law and numerous nieces and nephews in law. His dogs Max and Poppie. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday April 30, 2022 at 11:00 am at Fairview Presbyterian Church 857 Duluth Hwy. Lawrenceville, GA 30043 followed by graveside services in the church cemetery and reception at the church. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 Thursday April 28, 2022 at Byrd and Flanigan Funeral Home 288 Hurricane Shoals Rd. NE Lawrenceville, Ga 30046. In Lieu of flowers please make contributions in his honor to Fairview Presbyterian Church Missions or the Rose Garden fund.
