Carolyn "Kakie Sue" Batson

Carolyn "Kakie Sue"  Batson age 73 of Norcross GA, passed away Tuesday July 12, 2022. Mrs.Carolyn Batson was a member of First Baptist Church Of Atlanta. Carolyn was a God fearing woman, she was a kind and loving person to all who she crossed paths with on her journey of life. To all that knew her knew she loved her Jesus and it showed through her loving gentle spirit. Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents James Robert Lloyd & Dorothy Duggins Lloyd also two sons Jimmy Roberts & Israel Batson. Carolyn is survived by her loving husband Steven, son Richie Roberts, daughter Natasha Ward, daughter-in-law Helene Batson, two brothers and one sister James Lloyd Jr.(Jane), Debra Cates (David), William Lloyd (Julia), and an Aunt Betty Lloyd, seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Carolyn, cousins Linda and LaVon were called The Three Musketeers growing up because they were always together. Carolyn retired from Telecommunications with 30 years of service also she retired from Parkview High School of Gwinnett County Public Schools where she spread the love of Jesus to so many children and staff. Carolyn touched so many lives and will continue to do so. She fought the good fight with such strength, courage, and faith. Hearts are hurting, but the memories she has left will bring smiles & comfort eventually. The promises from God of a new body, no pain, and no tears as she is breathing Heaven's eternal air, have been fulfilled now.Till we join you in our eternal home, we all will  miss and love you always  Carolyn.
Carolyn's wishes were to be cremated and her life will be celebrated on July 23, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Byrd & Flanigan Funeral Home with Pastor Scott Downing officiating. Flowers can be sent to the funeral home or  donations to St.Judes in memory of Carolyn Batson
