IN LOVING MEMORY OF
William F.
"Bill" Hudler
September 30, 1947 – June 13, 2025
William "Bill" F. Hudler of Hoschton passed away on Friday, June 13, 2025, at the age of 77. Mr. Hudler was born on September 30, 1947, in Arlington, VA to Mr. & Mrs. French Ambrose & Geneva Hudler. Mr. Hudler was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Marty Hudler, brother Bobby Hudler, sister Nancy Rogers, sister Shirley Hall & son-in-law Josh Hopkins. He is survived by his wife Wanda Hudler, children Laura Hudler, Lisa Hopkins, Beth (Marty) Martin, Rebecca (Lewis) Gardner, & Kim (Jerimy) Johnson, sister Ann Pope, grandchildren Caleb (Averie) Hopkins, Clayton (Brooke) Hopkins, Cody (Kari) Martin, Kaitlyn (Josh) Graham, Andy Gardner, Abby Gardner, Brad Johnson, & Colt Johnson great grandchildren Weston Hopkins, John Oliver Hopkins, Henry William Hopkins, Brystal Martin, Landyn Martin, Emersyn Martin, Saydi Martin, Madalyn Graham, and a host of extended family and friends.
Bill lived a life full of love, laughter, and a deep desire to share his faith with everyone he met. His greatest joy was telling others about his relationship with his Savior, always eager to share his testimony to encourage and inspire those around him. He had a gift for making people feel seen, loved, and welcomed, always reflecting the love of Jesus to everyone.
Bill was a true family man who fiercely loved and took great pride in the accomplishments of his daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. This was evident to everyone who knew him, as his face would light up as he spoke of each one. He was blessed to spend 28 wonderful years with his first wife, Marty, who passed away in 2000. She was a remarkable woman, and the love they shared remains a beautiful part of his story. Bill and Wanda were married in 2001, and continued to build a life filled with love, faith, and countless memories together. Those memories included a love for traveling, camping, and attending various camp meetings throughout the Southeast every year. Bill also loved a good round of golf, fellowship with friends, and sharing laughter that was as infectious as it was sincere.
While our hearts ache in his absence, we take comfort in knowing that Bill is now experiencing the fullness of joy in heaven — something he looked forward to with great hope. We wouldn't call him back from the peace and glory he now knows. His life verse was 1 Thessalonians 5:18 (KJV): "In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you." And for Bill, that spirit of thankfulness never wavered.
