Virginia A. Roberts age 92 of Mountain Park, Ga passed away Tuesday March 30, 2021. Mrs. Roberts was preceded in death by her husband Harold (Red) Roberts, and her sister Mary Mauldin Gibbs, She was formerly employed at Sears Roebuck and for many years at Matthews Cafeteria. A former member of Corinth Baptist Church she enjoyed visiting and helping her friends, cooking, and her home on Lake Hartwell. The Family would like to thank Vickie Roberts, Terry Davis and Stone Mountain Heights for their unwavering care and support they have shown to Mrs. Roberts. She is survived by her sons & daughters in law Benny & Vickie Roberts of Monroe, Tim & Dale Roberts of Lake Hartwell, grandchildren Michael Paul & Danielle Roberts of Stone Mountain, Ben & Jesse Roberts of Mt. Airy, Kim & Derek Brown of Flowery Branch, great grandchildren Lydia Roberts, Pearly Roberts, Myranda Brown, Braxton Roberts, Bryleigh Roberts and Brielyn Roberts. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm Friday April 2, 2021 from the Chapel of Byrd and Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Pittard officiating. Interment will follow at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens. The Family will receive friends Friday April 2, 2021 from 12:00 - 1:00 at the funeral home.
