Theron O. Samples age 90 of Lawrenceville, GA; passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2017, Mr. Samples was born on September 27, 1926, in the Duncan Creek Community.  He served in the US Army, & Merchant Marines during WWII, and he retired from General Motors Assembly Plant in Doraville, GA. with 41 years of service. He was preceded in death by his wife Kathleen Samples.  Mr, Samples is survived by his children Tony Samples, Lawrenceville, GA; Kenneth Samples, Norcross, GA; Cindy & George Arp, Lawrenceville, GA; brother & sister-in-law Everett & Sybil Samples, Lawrenceville, GA; grandchildren Ashlyn, Lauren, & Lyndsey Arp, all of Lawrenceville, GA; and a host of extended family.  Graveside service will be held on Sunday, June 11, 2017, at 2:00 pm at Gwinnett Memorial Park, Lawrenceville, GA. with Rev. Tim Taffar officiating.  Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2017, at the funeral home from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm.
