Therese Marie Stepowany, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 29th at the age of 73 in Lawrenceville, GA.  She spent many years as a fifth-grade teacher motivating countless young minds and instilling a love of learning in her students.

Therese lived with Multiple Sclerosis for over 30 years.  Her strength and courage inspired many others, spreading awareness and raising over $450,000 for the MS Society. Therese and her husband did the impossible, raising four boys that were born within a year of each other.  Therese is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Wayne, and their four sons:

Scott (Jessica), Ben, Eric (Rachael), Robert (Robin) and her grandchildren Brooklyn, Axel, Wallace, Kate, Elijah, and Everleigh.  Therese is also survived by her siblings Katrina, Greta, and Ben.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Marguerite d'Youville  Catholic Church in Lawrenceville, GA on Monday, November 4, at 11:00am preceded by a visitation at 10:00.
