Our sister, aunt, cousin and best friend, Susan (Susie) Marie Brent, left this world on August 10, 2017, after many years of fighting addiction and complications from a horrific accident she experienced in November 2016. We remember her beautiful and giving soul and her unbound care for any animal or person that walked into her life. Susie was born on May 18, 1964, in Savannah, Ga. She moved to Zachary, LA with her family when she was 11 years old. Her kindness and acceptance of anyone and everyone touched so many throughout her life.  She leaves behind her sister, Lynda Coleman, her brother, Jimmy Brent, two nieces, Amber and Elizabeth Coleman, her nephew, James (Jim) Brent, her Aunt Barbara Harris and her adopted family Kathy, Aidan and Hannah Hayes--And so many friends and co-workers from all the paths she walked.
