Shirley Lee McAbee, 93, of Lawrenceville, Georgia, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on November 14, 2025. Shirley was born December 13, 1931 in Ft. Sill, Oklahoma. Shirley graduated from St. Vincent's School of Nursing, Little Rock, Ark. in 1953. She then graduated from Baylor School of Nurse Anesthetist, Dallas, Texas, in 1961. She worked as a Nurse Anesthetist in several hospitals including Springdale, Arkansas and Paris, Texas.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Esther Lee, and her husband, Ivan McAbee.

Shirley is survived by her daughters and their families. She is also survived by her two brothers and their families. A celebration of life was held privately.
