On Saturday, February 4 th , 2023, Russell Ramage, beloved son, brother, uncle, coworker and friend passed away at the age of 41. Born to Anita and Ronald Ramage and brother to Heather Ramage Hall, he was born and raised in Warner Robins Georgia and graduated from Houston County High School in 1999. He attended Athens Technical College and joined the Navy in 2003 where he served our country on the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier.

Russ spent the bulk of his adult life working in the telemarketing industry, rising high in the ranks until he became manager of the merchant services  division.

Rusty leaves behind a close-knit group of coworkers who will miss him dearly. He also leaves behind his father, Ronald Ramage, his sister, Heather Ramage Hall and her husband Brian and their daughter, his niece, Flannery. He is preceded in death by his mother, Anita Lord Ramage, pets, Raine and Nola and close friends, Nicole Reeves and Ryan Rawls.

Russ's hobbies included gaming and building computer and gaming systems, listening to music, fine wine and spirits, good eating, pool, playing cards and other grand pursuits of happiness. He had a big, generous heart and loved fiercely and protectively. He loved animals and travel and general merriment. If he couldn't make you laugh, you don't appreciate sarcasm or humor.

A celebration of Russ's life will be held at Byrd and Flanigan Funeral Home in Lawrenceville GA on Saturday, February 18th at 1pm.
