Rosanne Margaret Siemens Redditt passed away peacefully in her home on May 6, 2026. The strength of her faith in Jesus was witnessed by her friends and family throughout her life, even through her valiant battle against cancer. She used her naturally warm, outgoing disposition andencouraging love to point others to Jesus, her greatest passion in life.
Born on February 19, 1952, the third of nine children born to Margaret and Walter Siemens, Rosanne’s convivial personality developed while growing up in various towns around the Midwest with her parents and siblings. She greatly enjoyed music, especially hymns, and was a beautiful singer and pianist.
On December 19, 1981, Rosanne married the love of her life, Dan Redditt, whom she met at Eastwood Baptist Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma. They lived in the Tulsa area until moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1989. In 1996, the Redditts settled in Snellville, Georgia, where Rosanne and Dan have faithfully attended Church on Main (previously First Baptist Church of Snellville). They have twin daughters, Molly Redditt and Libby Redditt Owens (married to Nathan Owens), and a son, Lane Redditt (married to Lacey Hurst Redditt). Lane and Lacey have given Rosanne and Dan their three beloved grandchildren, Kaylee, Walker, and Lawson. Rosanne was deeply devoted to her family. She loved to dote on her few dozen nieces and nephews, attending as many weddings and special events as possible. She also had a signature move to welcome new family members, whether they were added by birth or by marriage—the “mark of the beast,” where she would apply bright red lipstick and plant a kiss on the cheek or forehead of the new family member. And she relished every moment she could spend laughing, singing, and praying with her brothers and sisters and their spouses.
Rosanne’s career revolved around teaching and serving others. After graduating from John Brown University, she taught business at Northeast Area Vo-Tech School in Pryor, Oklahoma. After several years of staying home with her young children, Rosanne returned to the school setting, first as a full-time substitute, then as a front office administrator at JC Magill Elementary. After her retirement, Rosanne worked part-time at the front desk of Church on Main. Her gregariousness and magnetism allowed her to thrive in her work as the “Director of First Impressions,” as she often jokingly referred to herself. Rosanne viewed her work as a means of serving and befriending every person who walked through the door so they could experience God’s goodness. To be in her presence was to be seen and loved.
Rosanne is preceded in death by her mother and father, her older brother, Don Siemens, and one of her younger sisters, Lyn Siemens Spencer. She is survived by her husband, her children and their spouses, her grandchildren, and six of her siblings and their families.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday May 30, 2026 at Church on Main 2400 E. Main Street Snellville, GA 30078.
