Robert B. Mignone, 65 years of age, passed away November 23rd 2021 after a more than 7 year battle with heart and kidney failure. He was surrounded by friends and family in the hospital.

Robert aka 'Bob' or 'Bobby' was born to parents Rita and Dino Mignone, on April 7th 1956 in Hackensack, New Jersey. Robert graduated from Pascack Valley High School.

Robert went on to live in southern California and Hawaii, before ending up in the Atlanta area. His professional career was spent mostly in Information Technology and Computer Programming. In the 80's Bob was responsible for creating, installing and the triage of all of the hotel telephone and network systems for most of the Las Vegas hotels, including the MGM Grand.

One of Robert's most notable accomplishments was his invention of and involvement in the United States patent number 6535889. He is officially listed as one of the inventors of the "Method for determining the effectiveness of the display of objects in advertising images"; which is essentially used across all technology platforms today. This invention and important technology advancement aids advertising analysts in measuring consumer data and their effectiveness in digital advertising.

Robert was a generous man throughout his life. Rather than offering the shirt off his back, he often opened the doors to his home to anyone in need. He would cook for you, no matter the time of day or night if you were in his company. If you knew 'Bob', you knew his love for cooking and making others laugh. Robert was both intelligent and clever and his greatest joy came from being around his beloved grandchildren and his dogs.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Rita and Dino Mignone and his brothers, Gian and Michael Mignone. Robert is survived by his loyal dog, Houzer, his sisters, Diane DaPonte and Jean Ledbetter, his son, Robert J. Mignone, his daughter, Julia Maldonado and son-in-law, John Maldonado, Jr., his grandchildren, Adriana Southin, Madelena Southin and John Anthony Maldonado III, as well as many other beloved cousins, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service to lay Robert B. Mignone to rest, will be held on Sunday December, 12th 2021 at the Gwinnett Memorial Park (925 Lawrenceville Hwy, Lawrenceville, GA 30046) promptly at 12:45 PM until 1:30 PM EST. Directly following will be a celebration of life nearby. All are welcome.
