Emily Keefer, 88, passed away on August 13, 2026. She was a retiree of Gwinnett County Schools, where she worked as a Media Clerk. Emily was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and devotion to her family. Emily cherished the time spent with her family, friends, and animals.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Craig Keefer; her son, Mark Keefer; and her parents, Roy Day and Rebecca Day. Emily is survived by her daughter Tracy Keefer and her spouse Terri, her son, Mike Keefer; her grandchildren, Colby Keefer and his wife, Jessica Keefer, Chance Keefer his wife Haley Keefer; her five great-grandchildren (Colton, Carly, Callie, Alayna, and Beckett) and many extended family members and friends whom she loved dearly.

The Family will receive friends on Friday, August 21, 2026, from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM at Byrd & Flanigan Crematory & Funeral Service, 288 Hurricane Shoals Road NE, Lawrenceville, GA 30046

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Emily's honor.
