It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ralph Harrell Fletcher on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at the age of 80.

Ralph was born on May 17, 1941, in Lenox, Georgia to Norbie E. and Lois Fletcher, and was one of seventeen children.  He left school when he was in the ninth grade to work with his family farming, helping to provide.  Later, he spent his career as a foreman building houses and eventually became the owner of his own construction company.

Ralph and Jo were married in December of 1990, and due to their love of animals always had a cat or two in the house to spoil as well as many rescued cats in the basement. In addition to taking great pride in a well-kept lawn, Ralph enjoyed spending time outside with their dogs and goats. He loved to cut up and joke with friends, family and even strangers. For the last several years, he had been a loving caregiver of his wife, Jo, during her battle with Parkinson's.

Ralph was preceded in death by his wife Jo Fletcher, his parents Norbie E. and Lois Fletcher, his siblings: Robert Fletcher, Norbie E. Fletcher Jr., Bobby Fletcher, Billy Fletcher, Larry Fletcher, Margaret Durham, Cleo Riggins, Mary Jo Moore, Vesta Spikes, Ida Mae Anglin, Brenda Joiner and Wynell Fletcher. He is survived by hisdaughters from his first marriage, Brooke May (husband Bill) and Amy Rees (husband John);grandchildren Cory and Miranda Rees, and Haley Ringe (husband Nick); his stepsons Jim (wife Terri) and Scott Rowland, stepdaughter Elizabeth Vitale (husband Steve) and grandchildren Brian and Rachel Rowland; his brothers; Ronald Fletcher, Raymond Fletcher, his sisters; Carolyn Pittman, Bettye Smith, along with many nieces and nephews.

No services will be held.
