Phillip (Phil) Nixon age 72 of Loganville GA; passed away on April 16, 2020. Mr. Nixon was a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church Lawrenceville, GA; a Veteran of the U.S. Army, and a avid rabbit hunter.  Mr. Nixon was preceded In death by his parents Onis & Marie Bookmiller Nixon, wife Joanna Stevens Nixon, and son Travis Nixon.  Phil is survived by his loving companion Donna Giddens of Conyers, GA; sister & brother-in-law Barbara & John Sockwell, grand-daughter Bella Sutton,  special friends Willard & Jeannie Sutton, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A private family graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2020, at 11:00 am at Hickory Grove Baptist Church with Pastor Kenny Kuykendall officiating.
