Paul Michael Ridgeway November 17, 1957 – May 6, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Paul Michael Ridgeway, who departed this life on May 6, 2025, in Snellville, Georgia, at the age of 67. Born on November 17, 1957, in Athens, Georgia, Mike was a proud Georgian through and through. He had a lifelong passion for the outdoors and was most at peace when surrounded by nature—whether hunting in the woods, fishing, or simply walking through the neighborhood on a clear day. A devoted Georgia Bulldogs fan, Mike rarely missed watching a game and cheered on his team with unmatched enthusiasm. A defining trait of Mike's personality was his gift for conversation, which allowed him to connect with anyone—he truly never met a stranger. Above all, Mike will be remembered for the immense love he had for his family. His kindness, strength, and sense of humor left a lasting mark on all who knew him. He loved the Lord and is safely home in Heaven.

Mike was preceded in death by his father, Dr. Ted Ridgeway, his mother, Ellen Sue Free, his stepmother, Jane Ridgeway, and his sister-in-law, Denise Ridgeway. He is survived by his beloved wife, Sheila Ridgeway, his two sons, Ryan and David, and his brothers, Kelly, Sim (Vickie), and Charles (Carol), and many nieces and nephews. His presence will leave a lasting imprint on all who knew him. His heartfelt phone calls and quiet strength will be missed beyond measure.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 12, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 11:15 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:30 AM. Both will take place at Church on Main, 2400 Main St E, Snellville GA 30078.
