Nell Russell, 94, passed away peacefully on Friday morning, July 28, at Gwinnett Extended Care Center.  She was born in Tacoma, Washington on April 6, 1923 to Victor and Tone Christine Bjorklund.  Nell married Thomas J. Russell in 1947 and began the life of a military (United States Air Force) wife living in Colorado, Japan, Florida, South Carolina, New Mexico, and her beloved Washington State.  She moved to Georgia is 1978 to be near her children. Nell was preceded in death by her husband, Tom; sons, Patrick and Kevin; and precious great-grandbabies, Wyatt and Dustin Janos.   She is survived by Robin (Steve) Darsie, Toni (William) Martinez, Vickie Frost, Vanessa Russell, Michael (Pauline) Russell, Kelly Williams, and Lori Russell; brother, Raymond (Betty) Bjorklund; and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.  Services will be private.
