Monica Gloradine Laing, beloved mother, grandmother, entrepreneur, trailblazer and woman of deep faith, departed this earthly life on Monday July 14, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, creativity, and resilience. Born on June 10, 1941, in Barbados. Monica was predeceased by her mother Vernese Richards-Skinner, brother, Winston Richards, granddaughter Marley Murry; and she leaves to cherish her memory, three daughters Kerry, Hope and Kim, two grandchildren Kingston and Arianna; three sisters, Ruby Fields, Lattis Richards and Dr. Sonia Richards; godchildren Tiffany McDonough and Jessica Lawton; as well as a hostof nieces, cousins and loved ones. She will be deeply missed and her life will forever be a memory of love. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday July 26, 2025 from the chapel of Byrd and Flanigan Funeral Home. The Family will receive friends on Saturday July 26, 2025 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Gwinnett Memorial Park.
