Mark Alan Reed Sr. age 78 of Suwanee, Georgia passed away Saturday June 13, 2026.

He was a U. S. Navy Veteran and great husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend who enjoyed riding his motorcycle with his ETJ Group, running in the Peachtree Road Race, half marathons, marathons and loved the Atlanta Braves.

He is survived by his wife Brenda Reed of Suwanee, son Alan Reed of Valdosta, daughter & son in law Angela & Bill Peterson of Milton, grandchildren Emily Peterson, Lexi Reed, Nathan Peterson, Devon Reed, Aaron Peterson, brothers Gene Reed of Suwanee, Mike Reed of Milner, sister Cindy Poudrier of Oak Island, NC.

A Memorial Service with Military Honors will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday June 23, 2026 from the chapel of Byrd and Flanigan Funeral Home, with Pastor Jerry Grey officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
