Marian Gayle-Brown was deceased on Tuesday, January 10th 2017 at the age of 92+ years. She was born on April 26th, 1924, just 3 months away from turning 93 years. She migrated from Kingston Jamaica to the USA in November, 2004. She first arrived in New York and then later came to live permanently in Georgia with her daughter Annette in 2005. She was married to Carlton Sylvester Brown (who is now deceased) in her early twenties. She was the mother of 7 children; Annette, Paulette, Elaine, Doreen, Tony, (Gracie and Michael were deceased).

She was a woman of God who loved the Lord with all of her heart. The word of God was the final authority in every decision which she made in her life. Her favorite scripture was "if God be for you, no man can be against you" (Romans 8:31). She was a prayer warrior and constantly prayed for her children. She would always say "I love all my children". Mama as we commonly call her was very instrumental in instilling Christian principles in her children, and grandchildren's lives. She had a deep relationship with the Lord. During the last days prior to transitioning she was observed to be praying in tongues more frequently and raising her hands in praise and worship.

She lived a long and happy life that was pleasing to God. She was a very faithful and dedicated wife to her husband. She was a homemaker and did this with pride and grace. She always protected and took great care of her children and grandchildren. She raised Stacy Ann (granddaughter) since 9 months old, after the death of her daughter Gracie. Stacy Ann was deceased in 2013. She always carried Stacy Ann in her heart. She enjoyed decorating the home, gardening, watering the plants and kept the house immaculately clean. Her hobbies were singing opera, dancing and reciting poetry. She was a fashionista and managed to pass this talent on to all of her children.

She was a born again believer and has left this physical body, to be present in spirit with the Lord in heaven. No more pain, no more suffering. See you again "mama" in heaven. She will be greatly missed by her children, children in laws Michael Callen, Nina Gregory, and Tony Wellington. She will also leave behind her grandchildren, Andre, Aaron, Bettina, Karima, Sabrina, Sharon, Sheryl, Jacqueline and Michelle, Fitzroy, Julian and Allison. Great grandchildren Courtney, Alex , Avery, Theodore, Gabriel, Michka, Jewel, Willow, Giovanni, Michael, London, Julian, and more, the newest one Elana, just being born on Sunday, 01/09/2017. Mama will also be sadly missed by her grandnieces, Faithy, Marcia and Jackie in London England, and many more relatives.  Heaven is rejoicing right now over mama's presence. Love you always mama! Farewell!
