Lynda Faye Hanson, 82, of Loganville, Georgia, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, May 23, 2024. Born on October 12, 1941, in Atlanta, Georgia. Lynda dedicated her life to her family and community. As a devoted mother of three boys, Lynda balanced her role as a bus driver for Dekalb County for 22 years with the successful operation of a commercial cleaning company for 7 years. Her hard work and dedication to her profession were only surpassed by her love for her family.

Lynda found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She cherished time spent with her family, nurturing her garden, and watching her sons at the racetrack. She was known for her generosity, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Lynda's creative talents shown through in her sewing and macrame projects, and she was renowned for baking delicious cakes that were loved by all.

Lynda was the beloved daughter of Corine Joan Fore and Lee Harrison Fore. She is survived by her three sisters, Susan Ray, Lanette Stewart, and Diane Johnston, and her two brothers, Joe Fore and Frank Fore. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters, Gloria Fore Hardegree Davis, Sandra Fore Roberts, and Joan Fore Swinney.

Lynda's legacy lives on through her loving husband, James Edward Hanson II, and her three sons: Randy Warbington (Kris), Ronnie Warbington (April), and James Hanson III (Samra). She was a proud grandmother to ten grandchildren Andrew, Justin, Cameron, Ronnie, Matthew, Travis, Evan, Ivi, Brooke, Morgan and four great-grandchildren Jackson, Vayda, Rhett, and Rowen who brought immense joy to her life. Lynda's kindness, warmth, and unwavering dedication to her family and community will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday May 28, 2024 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Byrd & Flanigan Funeral Service Lawrenceville GA.  Interment will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens Duluth GA.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on  Tuesday from 11:00 AM until the time of service.
