Obituary

Lydia Kay Keller, loving wife, and mother of two sons, passed away on September 9, 2022, at the age of 67. Lydia was born on July 5, 1955 in Dothan, AL to Penny and Marshall Gautney. She moved to Norcross, GA in 1998 and worked at Atlantic American for 25 years as a dedicated and loved employee. Lydia excelled at Yoshukai Karate and received her black belt in 1988, winning multiple awards during her continuous training. She also pursued multiple creative outlets including painting, pottery, etching, and stained glass, all which accentuated her love of art, nature, and fantasy.

Lydia is survived by her husband of 23 years, Blake Keller. She is also survived by her two sons, Jeremy (Melanie) Ferguson and Jason Ferguson, whom she lovingly raised in Dothan. She is also survived by her devoted sister, Jan (Gautney) Finleyson, and numerous other relatives that will miss her greatly. Lydia will be honored and remembered during a Celebration of Life ceremony on October 8, 2022 from 11:00 AM until 3:00 PM at The Hudgens Center for Art &,Learning (6400 Sugarloaf Pkwy, Building 300, Duluth, GA 30097). In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or The Hudgens Center for Art & Learning.
