Lizzie Jane Sikes, age 68 passed away from this life on October 9th after a short battle with cancer. She was born in Candler County, Georgia but resided in Lawrenceville Georgia for the last 15 years. She was taken care of by her daughter Jenny Marie Anderson Serrano son-in-law Jose Victor (Orlando) Serrano She is proceeded in death by her parents Mr. and Mrs. L.V. Sikes of Cobbtown, Georgia, four brothers, and two daughters. Lizzie was a homemaker for many years as well as working as a seamstress at baby tender clothing factory in Tattnall County Georgia. She is survived by her children Jenny Marie Anderson-Serrano of Lawrenceville, Ga, and Christopher Michael Sikes of Englewood, Florida. Five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She is also survived by three brothers Daniel, Van, and C.W. Sikes, and four sisters Thelma Irizarry, Rachel Sikes, Betty Sheffield, and Carolyn Howell.
