Livina Capitaine, born in Haiti on March 22nd 1930, was raised in a family of four children. When she became an adult, she gained the admiration of a handsome man, Brunel Zidor. A few years later, they got married. Throughout their union, they had 5 children. Villefranche (deceased in 1999), Laforest, Pierre Bruno, Roselaure and Roselaine. Livina was a great mother. She was well-known and respected in her village and her church for her hard work and her kind-heartedness. That was a plus for her sons and daughters. Livina was 91 years old when she passed away on July 12th, 2021. Her long life was a blessing that only a few people on earth are given. However, she's been through a lot of hardships  that took away her happiness. For instance, her oldest son died in 1999, her spouse succumbed to death in 2015 and one of her grandchildren who lived with her, Daniel Zidor, got killed in 2018 in a road accident. Despite all, she remained very courageous until the end of her life. Livina Capitaine very affectionate to everyone around her, especially her family. While her sons and daughters are sad for their loss, her grandchildren - Carlito Zidor, Faubert Zidor, Kendi Zidor, Fabiola Zidor, Mikerlande Zidor, Théo Zidor, Bradley Zidor, Kenny Montilus, Woody Montilus, Rose Judy Montilus,  Nike Anderson Valéus… - are remembering their grandma's words of wisdom and compliments. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday July 24, 2021 at 11:00 am at Good Samaritan Haitian Alliance Church 711 Davis Rd, Lawrenceville, GA 30046.  The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 am until service time.
