Leslie Alex Kelemen, age 88, died on August 1st, 2021 at Northeast Georgia Hospital in Braselton.

Born March 9th, 1933 in Detroit, Michigan.  He met his beloved wife, Shirley Kelemen and married her in 1950.  He was the most devoted husband.  They celebrated their 70th anniversary together with their family in November 2020.  He had many jobs throughout his life including a mounted police officer in Detroit, furniture salesman and insurance agent.

Les loved old classic movies, working outdoors, his dogs, Elvis Presley, making us laugh, a good meal, and ice cream.  His greatest love was always his family.

Les is survived by his wife, Shirley, four remaining children, Kurt, Karen, Debbie and Valerie, 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his son, Gary, and his infant daughter, Diane.

A Memorial Mass will be held Friday, August 6th at 1:30 pm at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Flowery Branch, Ga. Arrangements by Byrd and Flanigan Crematory & Funeral Service, Lawrenceville. 770-962-2200
