Laura Lynn Sauerbier, age 56, of Monroe, Georgia passed away Sunday, November 26, 2023. She is preceded by her son, Noah Sauerbier. Laura is survived by her parents, John and Barbara Budris, son and daughter-in-law Nathan and Sarah Sauerbier, daughter Jenna Sauerbier, soon to be son-in-law, Cade McDaniel, sister Jennifer Stark, her spouse Don Stark, and nephew Micheal Ventry IV.

Laura was born on December 25th, 1966, in LaGrange, Illinois. She played softball in grade school and took swimming classes each summer. She was in Pioneer Girls for many years. Lyons Township High School is where she went to school for 3 years. She then moved to Georgia in 1984 with her parents John and Barbara Budris, where she graduated from Shiloh High School in '85. Laura had part-time jobs during high school including, Chucky Cheese, Linens and Things, and Long John Silvers. After she graduated, she worked at Waste Management. When she started her own family, she became a wonderful stay-at-home mom.

Laura had 3 children, Nathan in 1993, Noah in 1996, and Jenna in 1999. She was very proud of her children and talked about them often.

Laura devoted her time to her family, friends, and her fur babies. She brought lots of joy into everyone's hearts. Every person that she encountered will always feel her kindness and hear her laughter.

A Memorial Service will be on Saturday, December 2nd, 2023, at Byrd & Flanigan Funeral Home located at 288 Hurricane Shoals Rd NE, Lawrenceville, GA 30046. Visitation is at 2:00 pm and the Service will begin at 3:00 pm with Pastor John Baker officiating.
