Larry Joe Heiser age 73 of Norcross, Georgia passed away Friday March 24, 2023. In Larry's memory, his children are starting an Art Scholarship in his name in partnership with The Mentor Project, which he helped found. The link is: mentorproject.org/donate/ He is survived by his son Jacob Heiser of Norcross, Georgia, daughters Deborah Heiser of Great Neck, New York, Cristi Marchetti of Albany, New York, Eliana Heiser of Savannah, Georgia, grandchildren Liam Weinberger of Great Neck, New York, Aiden Weinberger of Great Neck, New York, Vivian Marchetti of Albany, New York, brothers David Heiser of Des Moines, Iowa, Philip Heiser of Des Moines, Iowa, Jeff Heiser of Des Moines, Iowa, sister Diane Tost of Des Moines, Iowa.

Larry will be remembered by his family and friends as a kind and loving person, a connector with a great sense of humor, and always up for a fun time and a good joke.  He included everyone, was spontaneous, and was generous to a fault.

Larry will be most remembered for his infectious personality. He always made everyone around him laugh and feel at ease. He had a way of brightening up even the darkest day with his hilarious jokes and ever-present smile.His biggest accomplishment was being an amazing father to his children and grandfather to his grandchildren. He loved spending time with them and encouraging their passions. His kids and grandkids will always be grateful for the memories they made with their dad and will keep his legacy alive for future generations.

His spirit will live on through the Larry Heiser Art Scholarship, which is set up to support young artists and to continue his legacy with The Mentor Project, which he helped found.   Rest in peace, Larry - you will never be forgotten.
