Kusum Tandon

Kusum Tandon, who passed away peacefully on May 19, 2026, lived a life guided by faith, integrity, and quiet strength.

A devout follower of the traditions of her faith, she was also remarkably progressive in thought and action. She believed deeply in the power of education and made significant personal sacrifices to ensure her children received the best opportunities in life. Ahead of her time, she championed women’s empowerment and lived by example, demonstrating resilience, independence, and compassion. 

She is survived by her son Rajiv, daughter Poonam, and her beloved grandchildren Jay, Sammy, Anika, Sunny, and Rohin, all of whom carry forward her values and legacy.

She will be remembered for her wisdom, selflessness, and the enduring impact she made on her family and all who knew her.

A Hindu Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday May 21, 2026 from the Chapel of Byrd and Flanigan Funeral Home 288 Hurricane Shoals Rd. NE Lawrenceville, Ga 30046 770-962-2200
