Kelley Renee York, age 51 was called home to be with our Lord on October 9th where she was reunited with her daughter Ashley and mother Eloise.  She may have lost the battle to cancer, but the cancer never broke her spirit, wit, or laughter.  Kelley loved with her whole heart and had a personality you couldn't ignore.  She was surrounded by her loving family in her last days and went on her journey peacefully. We will miss her wise advice, contagious laughter, and her loving spirit most of all.

Kelley was preceded in death by her Mother- Eloise Smith, Father- Melvin Phillips, and Daughter Ashley Lauren York. She is survived by: Daughters: Stephanie York(Jesse Maitland), and Camille York  Son: Collin York  Grandkids: Kaylie Rae Cannon (Miss Priss), Piper Ellie-Rae Maitland, Lincoln Maitland, Cooper Maitland, Jayden Jones, Levi Jones, and Christian Jones Sisters: Kathy Brooks(Sam), Sharon McAllister(Todd), Tonya Post(Kenneth) Brothers: Andy Phillips, and Keith Phillips. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to Winship Cancer Institute Emory 1365 Clifton Road Northeast Building B, Atlanta, GA 30322, or to the St. Jude's Recovery Center 139 Renaissance Pkwy NE Atlanta, GA 30308 in memory of Kelley York. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Byrd & Flanigan Funeral Service Lawrenceville GA.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until service time
