Joyce E. Cooper age 76 of Grayson, GA; passed away on Sunday , September 3, 2017 , at Gwinnett Medical Center.  Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Buddy Cooper, parents, Sam & Gertie Butler Jones, brothers, Lamar Jones, Dennis Jones, & sister, Frances Lowery. Ms. Cooper was a life long member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Joyce retired after 46 years of service with the Gwinnett Hospital System as a Unit Secretary.  She is survived by her daughter & fiancee, Jennifer Harper & David Barlow Winder, GA; grandchildren, Megan Harper Hoschton, GA; & Jonathan Harper Loganville, GA; great-grandchildren, Harlie Harper & Jase Watkins Hoschton, GA; brother James Jones Lawrenceville, GA; sister Hazel Brooks Snellville, GA; sister & brother-in-law Virginia (William) Wages Lawrenceville, GA; special friends Sharon Gober & Eddie Cash Lawrenceville, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, & cousins.  A celebration of Joyce's life will be held on Thursday, September 7th, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Byrd & Flanigan Funeral Service with Pastor Phil Wages officiating. Interment will follow at East Shadowlawn Memorial Gardens Lawrenceville, GA.
