Joy Marie Layne age 70 of Dacula, Ga passed away Friday December 9, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents Charles B. & Mary Joy Sweatmon Layne, She is survived by her sisters Mary Ann Layne of Dacula, Susan Layne Zakeri of Dacula, nephew Aaron & Michele Zakeri of Bethlehem, great nephew Walker Zakeri, great nieces Marlee Zakeri, Cora Zakeri, aunt Vivian Cortez of Madison, uncle Samuel & Josy Layne of Merritt Island, FL, cousins Tina & Billy Thomas and family of Loganville,  Teresa & Phillip Lynch and family of Greensboro, Michelle & Walter Zimmerman and family of Madison, Ricky & Tracie Easterwood and family of Loganville, Linda & Buddy Buddin and family of Loganville, Carol & Mark Smith and family of Monroe, Dot Sorrells and family of Loganville, June Hicks and family of Lilburn, Bobby & Teresa Wade and family of Lilburn, Carl Boyer Jr. of Lilburn, Michelle & Doug Burton, Christine Layne, Nicole Layne, Ray & Ann Hikman, and numerous other cousins and family members. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 pm Tuesday December 13, 2022 from the chapel of Byrd and Flanigan Funeral Home with Pastor Aaron Zakeri officiating. Interment will follow at Melwood Cemetery.
