John Wesley Tyree age 71 of Dacula, Ga passed away Monday December 20, 2021. He was a Veteran of The U S Army and was retired from the U S Postal Service. He also coached the West Virginia Titans Football Team who won the Semi Professional Superbowl in 2003, and was preceded in death by his mother Mable Tyree, father John Coles, and siblings Ruth Whitehead, Katie Tyree, Charlotte Tyree, George Tyree Jr., William Tyree. He is survived by his wife Gwedolyn Tyree of Dacula, sons & daughter in law John Aaron Tyree & his wife Amanda Mekhael of Montreal, Canada, Kelly Hudson of San Marcos, Texas, daughter & son in law Amina Anum and her husband Mosley Mamah of Ghana, West Africa, step daughter Sherri Stone of Raleigh, North Carolina, 9 grandchildren, siblings Eva Tucker, Dorothy Tyree, Jack Cook, David Cook, Gilbert Tyree, Finnie Tyree, Shirley Faulkner, Ida Jones. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Thursday evening December 23, 2021 from the chapel of Byrd and Flanigan Funeral Home.
