John B. Cortez age 82 of Loganville, GA passed away Friday August 16, 2019. He was preceded in death by his son Michael John Cortez and was a U S Army Veteran. He is survived by his wife Vivian Cortez of Loganville, son & Daughter in law Keith & Kerri Cortez of Atlanta, step son Ricky Easterwood , step daughters & sons in law Michelle & Todd Entriken, Teresa & Phillip Lynch, Tina & Billy Thomas all of Loganville, grandchildren Matthew Entriken, Jared Roper, David McCollum, Jacob McCollum, Maggie Easterwood, Melody Rodgers, Marie McDougald, great grandchildren Elijah Chapman, Zach Chapman, Charlie Rodgers, Will Highfill, Wyatt Highfill, Waylon Roper. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday August 21, 2019 at 2:00 pm from the chapel of Byrd and Flanigan Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
