John Thomas Churchwell age 58 of Atlanta, GA passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2019. He was a loving son, brother and father, and was a passionate musician.

He was preceeded in death by his father, Thomas Fred Churchwell and his wife Julie Puzon Churchwell.

He is survived by his fiance Marlene Borja, son Thomas Clanton of Atlanta, daughters Nikki Churchwell of Alexandria, VA, Amber Churchwell of Carnesville, Janna Churchwell of Carnesville, granddaughter Piper O'Kelly of Carnesville, step-son Nicholas Puzon of San Diego, CA, step-daughter Emily Puzon of San Diego, CA, mother Helen Songer Churchwell of Atlanta, sister and brother-in-law Elaine and David Harris of Atlanta, nephews Adam Grier, Roman Grier, Samuel Grier all of Atlanta, uncle Ray Songer of Birmingham, AL, and a multitude of cousins.

A Memorial Service will be held Thursday May 2, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Budd Terrace @ Wesley Woods 1833 Clifton Road Atlanta, GA 30329. Rev. Pam Woodson will officiate. In Lieu of flowers please send pictures and stories of Mr. Churchwell to jannacc93@outlook.com.
