Joanne Daly Finnick Age 86 June 27, 1933 - January, 11 2020 She is survived by her seven children,William Finnick of Dacula, Patrick E. & Faye Finnick of Flowery Branch, Mary & Dennis Moon of Buford, Michael & Roxanne Finnick of Middleburg, FL,  Frances & Greg Rolader of Dacula, Joanne & Tom Sullivan of Raleigh, NC, Thomas Finnick of Atlanta.  eleven grandchildren Kristy Vallee, Tina Helms, Danielle Merritt, Elizabeth Smith, Dr. Michael Finnick, Grace Finnick, Mary Beth Jones, Shannon Casey, William Rolader, Lillie Rolader, Erin Casey. four great-grand children, and one sister-in-law Sister Mary Elizabeth Finnick GNSH. She was preceded in death by her Husband William P. Finnick Married for 56 years. She was a devout Catholic, and member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church.  She was Born in Miami, Florida.  She was very adverse to the cold weather. Joanne was a connoisseur of key lime pie, blueberry buckle, and glop. A 4-H leader of the Grant Street Hicks, a master gardener and a lover of humming birds, and a nemesis of squirrels. Above of all else, a Mom. A fierce woman, who protected and loved her family. A Rosary Service will be held at 1:30 pm and Funeral Mass will be held 2:00 pm Friday January 17, 2020 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, with Fr. Mark Thomas serving as Celebrant. The family will receive friends Thursday January 16, 2020 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the funeral home. In Lieu of flowers please make contributions in her honor to the Lupus Foundation at lupus.org.
