Joan L. Benson age 85 of Dacula GA passed away Saturday May 11, 2019. Mrs. Benson was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. A native of Massachusetts, and a hairdresser. She was preceded in death by her husband William E. Hansen Sr. and her son William E. Hansen Jr. She is survived by her daughters & sons in law JoAnn & Peter Stegagno of  Dacula, Donna & Michael Arthur of Fuquay - Varina, NC, Kathleen Hansen of Massachusetts, grandchildren Anthony Stegagno, Matthew Stegagno both of Georgia, Jeffrey Arthur of Virginia, Julie Arthur of New York, David Arthur of North Carolina, William Hansen III of  Largo, FL,great grandchildren Peter Stegagno, Luca Stegagno, Allyson Arthur, Kaitlyn Fay, sister Betty Craig of Massachusetts. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday June 8, 2019 at 3:00 pm from the Chapel of Byrd and Flanigan Funeral Home with Jeffrey Arthur officiating.
