Jimmy Temple Birts, age 73, of Social Circle GA, passed away on Monday, November 6, 2017. He was born on November 20, 1943 , and raised in Stone Mountain GA.  Beloved son, brother, father, grandfather, and friend, Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents Hugh Thompson Birts & Agnes Smith Birts and by his brother Jerry Hugh Birts.

He is survived by daughters Sonya Birts Gore of Mississippi, Holly Birts Eller of Athens, Jill Birts Lee of Loganville, and Timi Birts Everette of Social Circle, and grandchildren Hannah Everette, Savannah Lee, and Donovan Lee.  He is also survived by sister & brother-in-law Jane & Ottis Phillips and brother & sister-in-law Jon & Dianne Birts, and several nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Life service will be held in the Chapel of Byrd & Flanigan Funeral Service on Saturday, November 18 at 11 am . The family will have visitation and fellowship following the service.
